Now 30 % Lighter

Functional integrity and fire load insulation of > 30 minutes

PRIORIT is pleased to be introducing its new generation of fire protection housings type PRIOELEC EHL/ESL. The newly developed products provide economic and practically oriented solutions in order to ensure functional integrity of a switchgear or fire alarm system as well as fire-retarding sealing of the fire load in case of fire or a period of 30 minutes.

The tested fire protection housings are available as wall-mounted and stand-alone housings. A decisive advantage is its weight, that is reduced by approx. 30%. This allows easier transport of the new housings and move them into the building.
All wall-mounted and stand-alone housings have ventilation with air inlet openings and exhaust air outlets that are integrated into the back of the housing, which shut in case of fire. The integrated ventilation system, consisting of a fan and a smoke sensor, is installed in the upper part of the housings and ready for connection for 230 V AC. By using material that is classified to be non-flammable, A2 - s1, d0 to EN 13501-1 in combination with a variety of surfaces, deployment of the products is also possible in escape and rescue routes in cases where a non-flammable finish is mandatory.

All wall-mounted and stand-alone housings are equipped with a cable bulkhead on top and bottom. The configuration of the bulkhead is done quickly and straightforwardly using bunched or single cable glands. You can open the housing quite easily by actuating the swivelling lever. Integration in the master key system is possible since the cylinder in the swivelling lever can be replaced and this has another advantage.

The base plate of the stand-alone housings can be removed for easy transport and the plinth has ground clearance for easy lifting. High-quality stainless-steel hinges with a press-out pin allow the doors to unhinge, which facilitates transport and makes simply equipping the housings possible. This makes door stop change also possible on site. The equipment of the housings is completed by retaining tabs outside with the aid of which already assembled housings can be easily and conveniently mounted.

The new product line enables faster production of fire protection housings, thus making them available more quickly. Selected standardised products are available after approx. 2 weeks (non-binding delivery time and depending on quantity ordered).

PRIORIT electro hanging cabinet in single-leaf design, suitable for a smoke-tight and fire-resistant separation of electrical distributors in escape and rescue routes (fire load insulation) or for maintaining the function of safety systems in the event of a fire for over 30 minutes. The housing is made of non-combustible building material class A2 – s1 d0. As standard, cabinets are equipped with a ventilation system in the rear wall, top and bottom cable entry. The inside dimensions are based on the electro-technical standard distribution panels and mounting plates.

    Construction

      • Empty housing featuring high mechanical and chemical resistance
      • Integrated ventilation system consisting of fan and smoke alarm, installed ready for connection (230 V AC)
      • Cold smoke-tight sealing system via smoke alarm
      • Door hinges made from stainless steel
      • Door can be unhinged to reduce weight during transportation and assembly
      • Door integrated into body, opening angle approx. 180°
      • 2-point door lock via pivot lever with double-bit cylinder (can be replaced with home locking system)
      • Circumferential fire protection seal, foams automatically in case of fire  
      • Cable feed top + bottom for bundle insertion  
      • Fixing rails for installation of device support brackets or mounting plate  
      • Air flow monitoring of fan with potential-free changeover contact

      Material characteristic

      • Building material with surface coating non-combustible, classification A2 – s1, d0
      • Standard CPL surface is highly chemically resistant and sensitive to moisture
      • Colour light grey, similar to RAL 7035, edges and bevels in different colour
