Description
Fire protection cabinet as terminal box with equipment for installation with 90 minutes maintenance of performance. The terminal box is specifically designed for use in road tunnels in order to
– guarantee the maintenance of performance of safety-related electrical systems such as emergency lighting and smoke clearance
– allow feed-through and branch wiring of maintenance-of-performance cables
– allow selective activation of individual power consuming devices such as fire emergency lights via fused branch connections.
Designed according to DIN 4102, Directive 2004/54/EG, RABT, ZTV-ING Part 5.
Function
- 90 minutes fire resistance: fire-resistant strip terminals
- Classification: 90 minutes maintenance of performance
- Safety class I
- Protection rating in accordance with IP 65
- Stable against pressure / suction up to 1000 Pa
Construction
- Cable entry from 3 sides
- Mounting plate with up to 15 fire-resistant, live modular terminals up to 16 mm² and optional microfuse terminal
- Terminal design for 3-phase feed-through wiring (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) with branch connections up to 6 mm2 with clamp arch
- Mounting to wall through bottom of casing via enclosed and approved cable tie mounts
Material characteristic
- Casing made of impact resistant, chemically highly stable plastic according to RABT and ZTV-ING Part 5
- Colour light grey, similar to RAL 7035
- Mounting plate made of galvanized sheet steel
- Cable tie mount made of stainless steel 1.4529
