Single-leaf, fire-resistant smoke extraction damper, specially designed to seal exhaust shafts as part of RDA (smoke protection pressure systems). The aim is to keep safety stairwells smoke-free. The damper opens automatically in the event of fire via the control of the on-site RDA, providing a free, unobstructed exhaust area for fire gases. The closure is smoke-tight and offers fire resistance for over 90 minutes.
PRIOAIR SD-SLIM is classified for vertical installation in walls and ducts, thus meeting the required classification for installation in shaft walls vedw (d = duct smoke extraction duct, w = wall – part of the smoke extraction duct) and, in its largest size, offers an exhaust area of up to 1.81 m² at pressure stage 2.
