Hotel Koenigshof in Munich Combines Stylish Design with Outstanding Comfort

Located just a short distance from Munich’s Karlsplatz, the new Koenigshof has opened its doors. The new building was designed by the renowned Spanish architectural practice Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos.

The entrance area of the Koenigshof is defined by an impressive atrium. Guests enter a cathedral-height space flooded with natural vertical daylight, emphasising the height and openness of the reception area.

A distinctive visual effect is created by the folded golden perforated metal panels on the walls, which establish an elegant and luxurious atmosphere. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, the golden panels also provide acoustic absorption, creating a muted sound environment and a calm, pleasant ambience throughout the atrium.
PRIORIT AG contributes to the safety of the newly constructed luxury hotel with its high-quality fire protection products. Within the impressive surroundings of this project, specially adapted smoke extraction dampers have been installed and seamlessly integrated into the elegant interior design of the hotel.

The smoke extraction dampers were visually adapted to the architectural concept through both a gold-coloured metal cladding provided on site and a subsequent covering with an exclusive dark fabric finish.

This innovative solution ensures that escape routes remain free of smoke in the event of a fire, thereby providing the highest possible level of safety for hotel guests.

The combination of aesthetics and functionality once again demonstrates how fire protection products can be elegantly integrated into sophisticated architectural concepts.
